Genesis 13: El Roi, The God who sees!

“After Lot separated from him, Yahweh spoke to Abram, “Lift up your eyes and look around you to the north, the south, the east, and the west. As far as you can see in every direction is the land that I will give to you forever—to you and your seed. I will multiply them until they are as numerous as

the specks of dust on the earth. If anyone could count the dust of the earth, then your offspring could also be counted.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭13‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Wow talk about divine favor. Abram has had it all along. I’m sure he like every human needs to be reminded from time to time. Especially when circumstances come against us or our choices are not pleasing to the Lord. And yet Abram still had favor.

This reminds me of times I need the Lord to remind me of who I am. Of the authority I have been given as a daughter of the King. And I don't have to remind him, LOL, He already knows! ha ha. And isn't that an awesome truth. He is El Roi, He sees me. AND that means He sees and knows you too. What a beautiful thing to KNOW. What a sweet daddy we have. Life gets in the way a lot and I can question what I know to be true. I love how intentional

and kind the Lord is to Abram here to remind him of who he is and what the Lord has for him.

I need reminders too. I can get caught up too often in what's going on around me and fail to stay focused on what is in store, where I need the reminders.

Thankyou Lord for your kindness and Your intentionality with ME (us). To know my nature enough to not let me lose sight of who I am. You don’t get angry or annoyed by it, you simply love me just as I am. You take me close, wrap your arms around me and give me gentle and loving reminders. I love how you spoke today to Abram in terms he could totally receive. Continue to speak to me in ways I can truly hear.
