There are days when I don’t feel like hosting an open house, meeting a buyer for a showing, or prepping a home to go on the market. The to-do list can feel never-ending, and sometimes, I just don’t feel wanna, let alone like it very much!
In Numbers 18:7, God tells the priests that their work in the temple is a gift—not just a

responsibility, not just a title, but a gift entrusted to them by Him. And then I thought about one of my favorite verses In Colossians: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." – Colossians 3:23
What if I applied this to my everyday work?
What if hosting that open house wasn’t just another event but an opportunity to serve? What if meeting a buyer wasn’t just about selling a house but about helping someone step into a new season of their life? What if all the tedious prep work was really about stewarding my gifts well?
This goes so far beyond real estate—I'm in the process of getting my Jay Shetty Life Coach certification, which, to be honest, is a lot of work. It’s deep, it’s tedious at times, and it’s stretching me in ways I didn’t expect. But when I look at it through the lens of a gift rather than just a task, everything changes. What an honor it is to learn, grow, and be equipped to help others break through barriers, find balance, and step into their calling!
I’m choosing to see my work—every part of it—as an offering. An opportunity. A gift. And a privilege.
The truth is, this can be applied to anything Im doing. Yes we are talking about work today, but Im thinking of parenting, Im thinking of volunteering at the school and even the work It was to foster/adopt. I want to see It Instead as worship, as service, as a gift given to me and through me, shifting It from something I “have” to do to something I look forward to.
