As much as Numbers has been so challenging to understand and apply to our lives today, what if we say it as a foundation to set the tone for the entire Old Testament and even into the New Testament? Regardless there are so many lessons we can apply from Number to our lives today.
Im thinking of the number of times I have stressed over all the details of something. Maybe something that felt so small in reality, but BIG to me. I know I am guilting of thinking God only

cares about the “big” things—salvation, miracles, major life decisions—but Numbers 36 reminds us that He cares about every piece of "our lives."
What Im learning as I read the Old Testament about God
1. God is intentional – Nothing is random in His plan, even the things that seem minor to us.
2. God is a God of order – He puts structure in place not to restrict us, but to protect His purpose.
3. God cares about what concerns us – If land inheritance mattered to these women, it mattered to Him too.
Im always looking for how I can apply these lessons and understanding of God to my life today:
Im guilty of worrying about meeting someone and being in relationship again
Im wondering if Syrus will every feel this is HIS family. I am praying!
Im wondering if Keimani will be able to fully heal and walk out of his best self
Im wondering if my coaching is really valuable?
So much doubt, worry, concern...
Numbers shows ME that God isn’t just present in the big, life-changing moments—He’s also in the small, everyday concerns that I think are too trivial to bring to Him.
If it matters to ME, it matters to God.
The last words of Numbers are “These are the commands and regulations the Lord gave…” (Numbers 36:13). It’s a reminder that His way is always best—even when we don’t fully understand why certain details matter.
So today, instead of worrying about the small things, Im talking to Jesus
